The well-known Kopite7Kimi insider, which recently reported the probability of TDP growth RTX 4060 to values higher than that of RTX 3070 (above 220 W), and now he writes that RTX 4080 will receive TGP 420 watts. At the same time, the video card will not be used by the flagship chip AD102, but the youngest AD103. The senior AD102 are stored exclusively for RTX 4090, RTX 4090 TI and the probable 800-watt monster of the Titan class.
The consumption limit of the RTX 4070 can get to an impressive 400 watts if NVIDIA decides to use the GDDR6X memory in it instead of the usual GDDR6. As for RTX 4060, then, as mentioned above, it will probably consume more than RTX 3070. If these numbers turn out to be true, I would like to know what level of performance should be expected from these solutions.
