1001 Videogames to which you have to play before dying is a video game reference book published for the first time in October 2010. It consists of a list of videogames launched between 1970 and 2010, ordered chronologically by release date. Each delivery on the list is accompanied by a brief trial written by a videogame critic, with some entrances accompanied by screenshots. It was edited by Tony Mott, Veteran Edge Editor. The book preface was written by The video game designer Peter Molyneux. It is written similarly to the book 1001 records that you have to listen before dying, also published by Universe Publishing.
