As of yesterday, the members of the program Xbox Insiders had the opportunity to try a new Sign Update that enables some functions of the controls of the Xbox Series X | S in old Xbox controls .
This update applies to all controls of Xbox One with support for Bluetooth, Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, and the Xbox Adaptive Controllers. The update in question includes Bluetooth Low Energy and one Reduction of latency .
These controls now support Bluetooth Low Energy, which offers better compatibility between devices and allows for improvements of pairing experiences. You can play wirelessly on PCS with Windows 10, IOS 15+ and Android devices. After installing this update, the controls will remember a Bluetooth host (Smartphone) and an Xbox host (console), so you can quickly interpart between connected devices.
Est update also implements Dynamic Latency Input (DLI), which offers better commands in your Xbox Series X | S console for a more responsive gaming experience.
So you know, do not go to get rid of your old controls because they are about receiving new life in the future.
