Sega launches website for the 60th anniversary and teases something for the 25th of March - Segata Sanshiro - Video Peeling news, instructions, exemplary procedures, reviews and culture
Hard to believe it was 60 years of Sega power.
It is hard to believe that Sega has been on this crazy ride for 60 years, but you did it. The company was once platform holder and published competing hardware against Nintendo and later against Sony, until it successfully transferred to a third party after several top-class errors. Now it seems to be time to celebrate your time in the sun and perhaps to tease for something in the future.
Sega launched a website for the 60th anniversary (the company was founded on 3 June 1960), which you can see here. There is nothing yet, but you can access another part of the site by making a photo for March 25th. Many have noticed that the picture Segata Sanshiro seems to be called and this section of the site seems named after him. If you are unfamiliar, Segata Sanshiro was a fictional figure, with the Sega marketed the Sega Saturn in Japan.
It is curious to see what you could tease here, whether it's a real game or something different, just to have fun. We just have to wait and see, but so or so are 60 years quite a run.
