"An Asian First Party Studio would be good for Xbox" - Phil Spencer - Asian studio - Video Peeling news, instructions, exemplary procedures, reviews and cultu
"[It] would be a good supplement for us," says the head of the Xbox.
Microsoft has really expanded its list of first-party studios in the last one and a half years now and now has the strongest and most diverse first-party listing you ever had. However, Microsoft has suggested in the past that it has not yet been done to add more numbers even more numbers, while Xbox boss Phil Spencer has mentioned several times that he would like to record an Asian studio in the list of Xbox Game Studios.
And that's exactly what Microsoft seems to keep an eye on. Recently, Spencer spoke in an interview with Game Informer on the topic of the new acquisition of an Asian studio and said that the Asian market is a market in which Microsoft wants to be more present (and its representation), whether this is the case a Japanese Studio or a studio of elsewhere in Asia.
"Sure, we could publish relationships there, and we could do that too. I think that's alright, "Spencer said about a stronger Microsoft presence in Asia. "But I also think that it would be a good supplement for us if we develop our platform and have a first party studio voice from Asia at the table, whether from Japan or another market."
Although Microsoft has publicly spoken to address the focus no longer on adding first providers studios in order to actually provide high-quality content, it is good to know that the former has not yet entered the background. Microsoft's First Party Roof is already pretty impressive, but a big Asian studio would make it more.
